Security Committee

The Security Committee is dedicated to keeping Hawaii's retail community informed and prepared with guest speakers sharing expertise on security topics. Members also benefit from updates on emerging trends and concerns affecting the retail industry, as well as direct networking with law enforcement partners. Open exclusively to RMH retailers, retail loss prevention team members with ties to RMH, law enforcement, financial institutions, and RMH special guests.

Meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 10:30 AM on Zoom.

Hawaiian Cultural Committee

This committee offers members a meaningful space to learn about the importance of Hawaiian culture and how it plays a role in our businesses.

Meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:00 AM on Zoom. 

Retail Merchants of Hawaii Member Acquisition & Development Committee

The Membership Acquisition and Development Committee (MAD) focuses on building membership and coordinating social events that encourage networking, connection, and fun among members. Innovative, outside-the-box thinking is always welcome.

Education & HR Committee

The Education & Human Resource Committee provides a collaborative forum for members to exchange best practices, discuss current workplace challenges, and hear from guest speakers on topics relevant to today's retail environment. The committee also plans and coordinates educational seminars designed to support growth.

Future of Retail Merchants committee

Made up of energetic and innovative retailers between the ages of 21–39 years old, this committee is perfect for those interested in guiding the direction of RMH by bringing a fresh perspective and creative ideas to the table.

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee is one of RMH's most active committees, particularly during the Legislative session from January through May. Members meet regularly to discuss positions, direction, and strategy for measures impacting HawaiĘ»i's retail industry. 

Meets on Tuesdays at 8:00 AM on Zoom, unless otherwise noted.
