Celebrating 125 Years of Retail Excellence — Honoring Our Past, Showcasing the Present, Inspiring the Future

The 2026 Hoʻokela Awards and Fall Fashion Showcase will take place on Wednesday, September 2nd, at Limelight Hawaii, a beautifully reimagined event venue in the heart of Honolulu.

Hoʻokela, meaning "to excel," has recognized individuals and organizations demonstrating outstanding leadership, creativity, and community impact in Hawaiʻi's retail sector since 1985. This year's event carries special significance as RMH marks its 125th anniversary, honoring more than a century as the unified voice of Hawaiʻi's retail community.

The program will include a formal luncheon, where we will announce the winners of the Hoʻokela Awards and recognize the Retailer of the Year. There will also be a Fall Fashion Showcase to follow, spotlighting Hawaiʻi retailers and emerging trends.
